going in circles #1
€1,000.00
2021 - 3d collage - 85 H x 85 W x 4.5 cm - printed-paper and cardboard - unframed
First of a new series of abstract works on the subject of time.
TIME implies change and movement; movement implies the passage of time. This work wants to represent the passing of time and how we often go the full circle. One way or another we often find ourselves coming back to where we started from, or somewhere symbolically similar.
Paper from repurposed magazines' covers has been cut and folded into concertinas. The concertinas have been glued on a timber circular crown also covered with paper.
This piece doesn't need to be framed and it is ready to be hung.
